Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
BlackSky Global, LLC (BlackSky) requests experimental Special Temporary Authority to demonstrate and test the use of one (1) microsatellites in the manner described herein.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  To test, develop, and demonstrate the efficacy and design of a newly configured microsatellites. BlackSky seeks to test, develop, and demonstrate the efficacy and design of a newly configured microsatellites, including associated software applications, relative to their ability to provide high-resolution remote sensing in the Earth Exploration Satellite Service.
