Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Globecomm Systems, Inc. (GSI), hereby requests Special Temporary Authorization pursuant to Section 5.56 of the Commissions rules for a live demonstration for the Department of Homeland Security and in conjunction with the Long Island Forum for Technology, Nassau County Office of Emergency Management and other Long Island technology companies. GSI will be participating in a live demonstration of its hosted GSM Base Station System over the Auto Acquisition Explorer Ku Fly Away Terminal and the iDirect Network scheduled for April 17 in the Nassau County Courthouse area in Garden, City, New York (40-44-18N, 73-38-28W). However, the integration and test phase will begin in late March. GSI requests that STA be granted for the period from March 28, 2005 to April 26, 2005.
