DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC IBFS File No. SAT—MOD—20150918—00064 Call Sign $2673 The application of DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC (DIRECTV), IBFS File No. SAT—MOD—20150918— 00064, for a modification of the authorization for the DIRECTV—5 space station (Call Sign $2673), is GRANTED.! Accordingly, the license term for the DIRECTV—5 space station is extended from October 5, 2015, until February 28, 2022. DIRECTV—5 is authorized to continue to provide Direct Broadcast Service 5 at the 110.1° W.L. orbital location in the 12.2—12.7 GHz (space—to—Earth) and 17.3—17.8 GHz (Earth—to—space) frequency bands and to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command functions using the following center frequencies: 12201.0 MHz and 12202.0 MHz (space—to—Earth), and 17301.0 MHz and 17305.0 MHz (Earth—to—space). Operations under this authorization must be in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in DIRECTV‘s application and the Federal Communications Commission‘s rules not waived herein, and are subject to the following conditions: 1. DIRECTV must continue to operate the DIRECTV—S5 space station at the 110.1° W.L. location subject to the conditions in the most recent modification and previous grants. 2, DIRECTV must maintain its space station within an east—west longitudinal station— keeping tolerance of + .05° of the 110.1° W.L. orbital location. 3. DIRECTV must operate DIRECTV—5 at the 110.1° W.L. orbital location in accordance with any existing or future coordination agreements for this location. 4. In connection with the provisions of service in any particular country, DIRECTV is obliged to comply with the applicable laws, regulations, rules, and licensing procedures of that country. 5. Within 30 days of completion of the end—of—life maneuvers, DIRECTV shall send a letter to the Chief, Satellite Division, International Bureau, indicating the apogee and perigee of the DIRECTV— 5 disposal orbit. 6. DIRECTV is afforded 30 days from the date of release of this grant and authorization to decline this authorization as conditioned. Failure to respond within this period will constitute formal acceptance of the authorization as conditioned. 7.
