SAT-MOD-20140730-00089 for a description of the action taken. SAT-MOD-20140730-00089 E S2445 SES Americom, Inc. Modification 05/28/2015 - 10/15/2016 Grant of Authority Effective Date: 05/28/2015 Nature of Service: Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service On May 28, 3015, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of SES Americom, Inc. to modify the authorization for its geostationary-satellite orbit space station, AMC-1, to: (1) specify operations at the 129.15º W.L. orbital location, rather than at the 103.0° W.L. orbital location; (2) provide Fixed-Satellite Service, including direct-to-home service, at 129.15º W.L. in the conventional Ku-band frequencies of 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space); and (3) conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to drift AMC-1 to, and maintain it at, the 129.15º W.L. orbital position using the following center frequencies: 3700.5 MHz (space-to-Earth), 4199.5 MHz (space-to-Earth), 12.198 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 6423.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). SAT-MOD-20150304-00009 E S2632 DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC Modification 06/24/2015 - 06/23/2025 Grant of Authority Effective Date: 05/28/2015 Nature of Service: Other On May 28, 2015, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of DIRECTV Enterprises LLC to modify the authorization for its DIRECTV 8 Direct Broadcast Satellite space station at the 100.85° W.L. orbital location by extending its license term for 10 years, through June 23, 2025. DIRECTV is authorized to continue to operate DIRECTV 8 to provide DBS service at the 100.85° W.L. location on 16 odd-numbered channels between 1 and 31, inclusive, in the 12.2-12.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 17.3-17.8 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SAT-MOD-20150422-00029 E S2861 DIRECTV ENTERPRISES, LLC Modification Grant of Authority Effective Date: 05/28/2015 Nature of Service: Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service On May 28, 2015, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC to modify the authorization for its DIRECTV KU-79W geostationary-satellite orbit space station. DIRECTV KU-79W was previously authorized to provide Fixed-Satellite Service in the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands at the 78.8º W.L. orbital location. As a result of the modification, DIRECTV is authorized to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command functions necessary to operate DIRECTV KU-79W at the 78.8° W.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 11700.75 MHz and 11702.25 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 14001 MHz (Earth-to-space) SAT-STA-20150415-00023 E S2930 DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 05/28/2015 On May 28, 2015, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC, to conduct in-orbit testing of the DIRECTV 15 satellite (Call Sign S2930) at the 66.8 W.L. orbital location for a period of 30 days using the following frequency bands: 28.35-28.6 GHz, 29.25-29.29 GHz, and 29.5-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space), and 18.3-18.59 GHz and 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth). DIRECTV is also authorized to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to drift the DIRECTV 15 to the 102.75° W.L. orbital location upon completion of in-orbit testing.
