Barryvox® W(ireless)-Link Your Barryvox® has a W-Link communication channel that allows data communication between W-Link capable avalanche transceivers. The W-Link channel allows the exchange of vital data (PULSE Barryvox® only), providing faster and more reliable multiple burial data as well as the communication with the W-Link based test and configuration adapters. The W-Link channel is completely separate from the primary 457kHz functions of the transceiver. Without W-Link data available, your transceiver will still operate as a normal 457kHz avalanche trans- ceiver in transmit and receive mode. Due to differences in country specific communication laws and frequency usage, the W-Link configuration is different in different countries. W-Link World Map Different countries have varying frequency regulations. The following world map shows the fre- quencies used in the individual countries. Note that specific frequencies may not be used in certain countries. The frequency is factory set depending on the country of sale. The man- ufacturer declines all liability in the case of after-sale frequency modifications.
