GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This product must be grounded. Ifitshould malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least
resistance forelectric currentto reduce the riskofelectricshock. This product is equipped with a cord having
an equipment—groundingconductorand a grounding plug, The plug must be plugged into an appropriate
outletthat is property installed and grounded in accordlance with all local codes and ordinances.

a qualified electrician orserviceman ifyou are in doubt as to whetherthe product is property grounded.
Do not modify the plug provided with the product — ifitwill notfit the outlet, have a properoutlet installed by
a qualified electrician.

This product is for use on a nominal 120—V circuit and has a grounding plugthat looks like the plug ilustrated
in sketch A in followingfigure. Make sure thatthe product is connected to an outlet having the same
configuration as the plug, No adaptershould be used with this product.
