WELLCOR W RE○ R iBea acon W91 1 Series 1 Produ uct intrroductio on: 1.1 su ummarizee      iB Beacon is a BLE (Blu uetooth low w energy) in ntroduced byb Apple's Bluetooth applicationn, a technoloogy that cann be used in ndoor posittioning, to a certain ex xtent, be useed to comppensate for the lack of poor locatte for GPS in i the room m, but iBeacon is different from GPPS position ning principle , iBeacon positioningg is calculaated by the signal stren ngth receiv ved by the rreceiver to determine the distance between thhe two, iBeaacon continuuing transm mitting broad dcast inform mation whicch containns a specific MAC addrress, UUID,, MAJOR, MINOR, ettc., when th he phone reeceives the APP You can c determinne when this broadcastt informatioon iBeacon location, l bu ut also by A APP mobile client tells the server haas access too the iBeaco on broadcasst area. iBeeacon send to t phone onnly broadcaast information without any other information, but accordding to broaadcast inforrmation sennt by iBeaco on , the phoone can dow wnload requiired informaation in releevant serverr. 1.2 iB Beacon tecchnical in ntroductioon iBeaacon broadccast frame using "annoouncement frame" (Ad dvertising) to send thee message, the notice iissued by a periodic fraame with B BLE devicess (iBeacon), as long as tthe supportt BLE termiinal can recceive the siggnal. Annouuncement fraame payloaad portion, anda writes thhe data defiined by Appple. iBeaacon data mainly m consstituted by the four kiinds of info ormation, nnamely, UU UID (Univerrsal Uniquee Identifier)), Major, Minor, M Meaasured Pow wer. UUID is defined as ISO/IEC C11578: 19996 standarrd 128-bit identifier. i Major M and MMinor iBeaccon set by the t owner, is a 16-bit identifier. ForF examplle, stores caan use UUID D name on bbehalf of th he head office, Major reepresentativ ves of regioonal names,, Minor behhalf of a sho op name Meeasured Pow wer is iBeaccon distancee between th he module anda the receeiver refereence receiveed signal strrength at 1 m. m (RSSI: Received R Sinngnal Stren ngth Indicatoor) , the recceiver of thhe referencee RSSI baseed on the intensity i off the receivved signal to t the receiver modulee and calcullating iBeaccon distancee.
