Please explain the purpose of operation: |
The purpose of operation is radio testing of Parallel Wireless hardware and software, in real-world environments.
The testing will allow for further development of a vehicle network system solution, inspired by the Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) concept, for a virtual network system (VNS). The project team will conduct a testing tour throughout New Hampshire. The testing will be supported by devices and applications operating through a Band 14 eNodeB/EPC, in a portable deployment scenario. Performing these tests on a daily basis for the proposed operation dates will provide the opportunity to test the equipment operation in different scenarios, overcome various network and data application-based obstacles, and in heavy RF intensive environments.
Parallel Wireless hardware was used for a similar exercise with the Oklahoma Public Safety Broadband Network, across the state of Oklahoma. Further information about the Oklahoma Public Safety Broadband Network exercise may be found under File No. 1611-EX-ST-2016.
There is no commercial activity or mission-critical telecommunication support being provided as part of this demonstration. Rather, the demonstration is proof-of-concept.
