There are 26 channels proposed in total for the race teams at each of these two racing events in the
specific range 162-174 MHz. However, those include alternate or "backup" channels which
would only be used if there was an interference situation on site. All race team communications (crew to
vehicle and crew to crew) are proposed at VHF. Assuming no on-site interference on any of the channels
proposed for the teams in the range 162-174 MHz, only 13 channels will be in use in that range at any
one time during either race event.
