The previous authorization file no. 0288-EX-ST-2009 was issued for a completely different product. That
product within the next several weeks will become FCC approved and ready for the market. This is not a
request for an extension to continue testing of that product. This current request (0359-EX-ST-2009) for
a new STA is for a new WiMax product that is still under development and is not scheduled to be
approved or released to the market until late Q'1 2010. The geographic areas listed for the field trials are
exactly the same as the previous authorization and may have contributed to some of the confusion.
