Cisco is developing a GSM base station with voice over IP capability called the
GP19. The GP19 operates in the 1900MHz range. We will be testing voice calls
with GSM phones (such as the Nokia 5160), and Cisco IP based routers, switches
and gateways. Testing will include up to 30 GSM phones. All testing will be
performed within the Cisco buildings on the Reasearch Triangle Park, North
Carolina campus.
