days, beginning February 4, 2016, to operate its C—band earth station, call sign KA265, in
Paumalu, Hawaii, to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command ("TT&C") services for
Intelsat 805 satellite ($2404) to drift the space station from the 55.5° W.L. orbital
location to the 169° E.L. underthe following conditions:

1. Intelsat will perform the operationsin the uplink frequencies (Earth—to—space): 6173.70
MHz and 6176.30 MHz and the downlink frequencies (space—to—Earth): 3947.50 MHz,
3948.00 MHz, 3952.00 MHz and 3952.50 MHz, within coordinated emission and power
limits.

2. During the drift from 55.5 W.L. to the satellite‘s permanent orbital location 169° E.L.,
Intelsat will coordinate with operators of co—frequencysatellites in the drift path.

3. All operators of satellites will be provided with an emergency phone number where the
licensee can be reached in the event that harmful interference occurs, Currently the 24x7
contact information for the Intelsat 805 mission is as follows: Ph.: (703) 559—7701 — East
Coast Operations Center (primary); (310) 525—5591 — West Coast Operations Center

communication system.

5. In the event of any harmfulinterference under this grant of STA, Intelsat License LLC
KA265 must cease operations immediately upon notification of such interference, and
must inform the Commission, in writing, immediately of such an event.

6. Grant ofthis authorization is without prejudice to any determination that the
Commission may make regarding pending orfuture Intelsat License LLC applications.

In further support of this request, Intelsat incorporates by reference Exhibit A submitted with its original
STA, which contains technical information that demonstrates that the operation of the earth station will
be compatible with its electromagnetic environment and will not cause harmful interference into any
lawfully operating terrestrial facility. In the extremely unlikely event that harmful interference should
occur due to transmissions to or from its earth station, Intelsat will take all reasonable steps to eliminate
the interference.

Grant of this STA further extension request will allow Intelsat to continue drifting the Intelsat 805
satellite to its new location. This, in turn, will help satisfy customer demand at 169.0° E.L. orbital
location and thereby promotes the public interest.

Please direct any questions regarding this STA request to the undersigned at (703) 559—6949.

Respectfully submitted,
