Re: Gogo LLC ESAA STA Request, Call Sign E120106
       File No. SES-STA-20131120-01155

Dear Ms. Dortch:

Gogo LLC (“Gogo”), by its attorney and pursuant to Section 1.65 of the Commission’s rules, 47
C.F.R. § 1.65, hereby updates the record regarding Gogo’s above-referenced request for
special temporary authority (the “STA Request”). Specifically, Gogo advises the Commission
that the correct downlink frequency band associated with the Eutelsat 172A spacecraft for
purposes of the STA Request is 10.95-11.2 GHz.

In the STA Request, Gogo sought authority to add Eutelsat 172A and another satellite as points
of communication on a temporary basis to allow coverage of Russia. Authority was sought
pending action on Gogo’s recent application to modify the Gogo ESAA blanket license to
permanently add Eutelsat 172A and several other satellites as permitted points of
communication. See File No. SES-MFS-20131114-01015 (the “Gogo Modification”). The STA
Request incorporated by reference the supporting technical information included in the Gogo
Modification.

Gogo has subsequently learned that the information in the Gogo Modification identifying the
downlink spectrum for communications with the Eutelsat 172A spacecraft was incorrect.
Specifically, Gogo indicated that the downlinks from this spacecraft would use the 11.7-
12.2 GHz band. See Gogo Modification, Narrative at 3 & Annex 2. However, Eutelsat 172A is
not licensed to operate in this downlink band. Instead, the correct downlink band for Gogo
communications with Eutelsat 172A is 10.95-11.2 GHz.

Gogo is preparing an amendment to the Gogo Modification to address this error and provide the
accurate downlink band and will file it as soon as possible. In the meantime, Gogo respectfully
requests that the Commission update its records with respect to the STA Request to reflect the
corrected downlink frequency information.

Ms. Marlene H. Dortch -2- December 18, 2013
