Televisa S.A. de C.V. c/o Holland & Knight LLP 800 17th Street, NW Suite 1100 Washington, DC 20006 October 1, 2013 Request for Special Temporary Authority Televisa, S.A de C.V., a Mexican corporation and an applicant for FCC authority to license a temporary fixed Earth station as filed with the FCC today (Form 312 attached), pursuant to Sections 74.433 and 1.931 of the Commission's Rules, hereby requests Special Temporary Authority for a period of 180 days to operate said station (TVSA-Mob 4) throughout the Continental United States. Televisa has already received an FCC license for its Mob-1 facility (E130127). The purpose of this request is to allow Televisa, a network organization operating in Mexico, to carry the live telecasts of sporting events of significant interest to its viewers -- each of which events are scheduled outside the control of Televisa. No broadcast will take place until frequency coordination at the particular location for the selected date has been undertaken and confirmed. Because of the imminent nature of the prospective telecasts, urgent action on this request for STA is respectfully requested.
