All operations shall be on an unprotected and non—harmful interference basis, Intelsat License LLC, KA264, shall not cause harmful interference to, and shall not claim protection from, interference caused to it by any other lawfully operating station and it shall cease transmission(s) immediately upon notice of such interference. All operations under this grant of special temporary authority must be on an unprotected and non—harmful interference basis, i.e., Intelsat must not cause harmful interference to, and shall not claim protection from interference caused to it by, any other lawfully operating station. 3. In the event of any harmful interference under this grant of special temporary authority, Intelsat must cease operations immediately upon notification of such interference, and must inform the Commission, in writing, immediately of such an event. 4. Any action taken or expense incurred as a result of operations pursuant to this special temporary authority is solely at Intelsat License LLC‘s risk. 5. Washington, D.C. 20554 Re: Request for Further Extension of Special Temporary Authority Hagerstown, Maryland C—band Earth Station KA264 Dear Ms. Dortch: Intelsat License LLC ("Intelsat") herein requests a 60—day further extension —— through October 31, 2013 —— of the Special Temporary Authority ("sTAa")‘ previously granted Intelsat to utilize its Hagerstown, Maryland C—band earth station KA264 prior to grant of permanent operating authority." The antenna will communicate in the frequency bands 3700—4200 MHz and 5925—6425 MHz with the U.S.—licensed Galaxy 28 satellite at 89.0° W.L. In the extremely unlikely event that harmful interference should occur, Intelsat will take all reasonable steps to eliminate the interference. Grant of this STA further extension request will enable Intelsat to continue using this earth station to communicate with the Galaxy 28 satellite, thereby serving the public interest. In addition, grant will provide the Commission with additional time in which to continue processing the permanent license modification application.
