Description of Special Temporary Authority Request Educational Media Foundation, pursuant to section 25.120(A) of the FCC rules hereby requests a 60 day Special Temporary Authority ('STA') to do pattern testing of the C-Band uplink Antenna schedule for the service being applied for. This STA request is for CW carrier only (no modulation), within the frequency restrictions coordinated within the application. EMF is currently requesting a license for an additional uplink. EMF has made arrangements to commence testing this link on November 14, 2011 and hereby requests an STA to do so. This STA request is in the public interest because it will ensure uninterrupted service to thousands of listeners around the country.
