                             SUPPLEMENT TO
STA REQUEST AND PUBLIC INTEREST STATEMENT

On May 28, 2008, Saga Radio Networks, LLC, filed a request for Special
Temporary Authority ("STA")(File No. SES—STA—20080528—00682) to continue to
operate its earth station (Call Sign E872070) while its application (SES—LIC—20080613—
0072) for permanent authority is pending. It is critical to the business of Saga Radio
Networks, LLC, and to the members of the public who listen to the radio stations in
Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Missouri and Ontario Canada, that this uplink be permitted to
continue to operate. Following are specific reasons why the public interest would be
served by a prompt grant of the request for STA.

Currently, E872070 is critical to provide Primary State level EAS service to
the Ironwood, Eastern, and Keweenaw districts of Michigan‘s Upper Peninsula.
This service is critical because there is no other way to deliver this service to sections
of the Upper Peninsula.

Currently, E872070 is critical to provide Secondary State level EAS service
to the Upper lower peninsula through WTCM—FM, Traverse City, MI. E872070
provides the opportunity for any affiliate of the Michigan Radio Network or the
Michigan Farm Radio Network to received State level EAS service through their
receiver.

Currently, E872070 is critical to provide uplink services to feed audio
programming to the Michigan Radio Network, which has 55 Affiliates across the state of
Michigan. The Michigan Radio Network provides news content and longform public
affairs programming.

E872070 is also critical to provide uplink services to feed audio programming to
the Michigan Farm Radio Network which has 25 Affiliates across the state of Michigan.

The Michigan Farm Network provides both long and short form agricultural news and
information as well as long form public affairs programming with an agricultural topic.

E872070 is also critical to provide uplink services to feed audio programming to
the Illinois Radio Network which has 47 Affiliates across the state of Illinois and into
Missouri. The Illinois Radio Network provides news content and long form public affairs
programming.

E872070 also is critical to provide uplink services to feed audio programming to
the Detroit Tigers Radio Network, which has 24 Affiliates across the states of Michigan
and Ohio as well as Ontario Canada, and provides live feeds of all games to network
affiliates.

E872070 also is critical to provide uplink services to feed audio programming to
the , Detroit Red Wings Radio Network which has 23 Affiliates across the state of
Michigan and is critical to provide uplink services to provide live feeds of all games to
network affiliates.

E872070 also is critical to provide uplink services to provide live feeds of all
games to network affiliates of the Detroit Lions Radio Network, which has 34 affiliates
across Michigan, Ohio and Ontario Canada. It provides live feeds of all games to
network affiliates.

E872070 also is critical to provide uplink services to provide live feeds of all
games to network affiliates of the Detroit Pistons Radio Network which has 8 affiliates
across Michigan. It provides live feeds of all games to network affiliates.

E872070 also is critical to provide uplink services to provide live feeds of all
games to the Michigan State University Radio Network, which has 36 affiliates. It
provides live feeds of all football and basketball games to network affiliates.

In addition to the Michigan and Illinois networks, Saga Radio Networks, LLC, is
planning to move all Minnesota networks to the Lansing uplink in early 2009. In
addition to the Minnesota News and Farm Networks, the Minnesota Twins,
Timberwolves, and the University of Minnesota football and basketball networks would
also be added to the above lineup.

There is no practical way to work around the missing uplink. If the uplink were
forced to terminate operations, members of the public who listen to the affiliate radio
stations noted above would lose the opportunity to hear the programs carried on the
networks and would lose the opportunity to hear the sports broadcasts carried on the
networks.

Saga Radio Networks, LLC, believes it has shown that the consequences would
be dire if the uplink were not permitted to continue to operate and respectfully renews its
request for special temporary authority.

Dated this [ /_*" day of July, 2008.
                                           Respectfully submitted,
