The STA will specifically support a Fixed Earth Station that will be communicating with a satellite via a teleport. This communication link will then be used to show, support and then develop our Broadband system capabilities to an airline customer. As further clarification, no communications will be made with mobile stations for the STA. This letter is requesting a 60 day extension of the previously granted STA for the purpose of continuing the evaluation project. An FCC license request is being made concurrently as Panasonic has decided to move forward with the program once evaluation is complete. Please contact the undersigned should you have any questions.
