Request for Reinstatement of Call Sign E7860 NBC Telemundo License LLC (“NBC Telemundo”) respectfully requests reinstatement of the expired earth station license associated with Call Sign E78601 pursuant to Section 25.163 of the Commission’s rules.2 NBC Telemundo has consistently filed timely license renewal applications in the past, as illustrated by the more than 55 renewal applications it timely filed since February 1, 2019. Due to an administrative error, however, NBC Telemundo inadvertently allowed the E7860 earth station license to expire before filing a renewal application. NBC Telemundo has taken measures to ensure that this oversight will not happen again by adding earth station expiration dates to NBC Telemundo’s internal compliance calendar. The continued operation of this earth station serves the public interest as it remains necessary to support NBC affiliate WPTV-TV, licensed to West Palm Beach, Florida, and serving the Gold and Treasure Coasts of South Florida, and is used for the distribution of news, entertainment, and public affairs programming between WPTV-TV and the NBC network. 1 IBFS File No. SES-MOD-20131119-01149. 2 47 C.F.R. § 25.163.
