("Inmarsat") hereby notifies the Commission that Inmarsat has begun offering service, through its retail partners, a new model of the BGAN family of products named the IsatHub.‘ This configuration is electrically identical to that already authorized by the Commission, although the IsatHub will have a slightly different form factor." The IsatHub will also have the same shut—off time of less than three seconds as the BGAN family of user terminals and otherwise operate in a similar manner. Although Inmarsat does not require prior approval from the Commission to offer service using this new configuration, Inmarsat is filing this notice to ensure that the Commission is informed with respect to this development.
