July 29, 2013 Systems Analyst Branch Satellite Division, International Bureau Federal Communications Commission 445 12th Street SW Washington, DC 20554 Re: Application for Modification of Fixed Earth Station License Pursuant to Section 25.117 of the Rules and Regulations (“Regulations”) of the Federal Communications Commission (“Commission”), Harris Corporation (“Harris”), by way of the underlying application, seeks Commission authority to modify callsign E0180150, file number SES-LIC-2008062700855. Harris wishes to add a TXINT-380 3.8m C-band Patriot antenna. This application follows a dismissed application under DA-13-15351. Pursuant to the dismissal letter, Harris is now providing an analysis whereby the Patriot 3.8m model TXINT-380 antenna complies with the applicable off-axis effective isotropic radiated power (eirp) envelope set forth in § 25.218, of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R §25.218, as demonstrated by data submitted in accordance with §25.115(h) of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. 25.115(h). According to §§ 22.203, 21.100(d) and 21.706(c) (d) of the Commission’s rule, a frequency coordination study was conducted and the results of the study indicate that no unacceptable interference will result with existing, proposed or prior coordinated radio facilities. 1 Dismissing SES-MFS-20121214-01101 on July 9, 2013.
