SAT—AMD—20091221—00147, etc.‘ Dear Ms. De La Torre, Globalstar, Inc., on behalf of its affected subsidiaries ("Globalstar"), hereby notifies the Commission that on August 29, 2011, Globalstar received from the French Ministry in charge of space licensing, Ministére de l‘Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche ("Ministry"), the authorization requested by the French Space Act to register its second generation satellite constellation. Further, the Ministry confirmed that all of the HIBLEO—X satellites previously launched by Globalstar are to be listed on the National Register of France and that the French relevant authorities have undertaken to register the satellites with the United Nations pursuant to the terms of the Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space. Accordingly, Globalstar has now satisfied the conditions of the Commission‘s March 2011 Order, bringing that order into full force and effect, and this letter serves as the notification required by that Order."
