Re: WorldVu Satellites Limited, Application for Earth Station in Talkeetna, AK
IBFS File No. SES-LIC-20180604-01082; Call Sign E180620

Dear Ms. Dortch:

Pursuant to discussions with the Commission’s Satellite Division, WorldVu Satellites Limited
(“OneWeb”) hereby submits certain additional information regarding its pending application for
an earth station facility in Talkeetna, Alaska (the “Talkeetna Application”).1 In particular,
OneWeb clarifies for Commission staff that:

 The point of communication for the Talkeetna earth station will be the OneWeb fixed-
satellite system granted U.S. market access by the Commission in June 2017 (the
“OneWeb FSS System”).2 Currently, the OneWeb FSS System is not available for
selection as a satellite point of communication from the drop-down menu in IBFS.

 The antenna transmit gain for the 29.5-30.0 GHz band will be 58.2 dBi at 29.75 GHz and
the antenna receive gain for the 17.8-18.6 GHz band will be 54.4 dBi at 18.2 GHz.

 The emission designators provided in the Comsearch Reports in Exhibit B of the
Talkeetna Application reflect the carrier noise bandwidth of 3 dB, while the emission
designators provided in the Schedule B of the Talkeetna Application and the petition
associated with the OneWeb Market Access Grant reflect the necessary bandwidth
(typically 15 dB). This difference in bandwidth is less than ten percent and provides a
