The Director’s staff will then confer with the International Bureau where I work. I have dismissed your applications at your request. Answer A request for a refund of filing or regulatory fees must be addressed to the FCC’s Office of the Managing Director, which has delegated authority to act upon requests for waiver, reduction or deferment of fees . 47 C.F.R. § 0.231. Refund of fees is appropriate only in specific circumstances set forth in 47 C.F.R. § 1.1115 (filing fees) and 47 CFR § 1.1160 (regulatory fees) . An applicant can request a refund by sending an email to ARINQUIRIES@fcc.gov. The International Bureau is not authorized to address such requests, but may be consulted to confirm factual or procedural issues related to the request.
