FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION Washington, DC 20554 October 5, 2004 Mr. Boris Herfurth Project Manager In den Dauen 6a Bonn, Germany Re: Application of Plenexis Gesellschaft fuer Satellitenkommunikation, File No. SES—LIC—20040915—01385, E040370 Dear Mr. Herfurth: On September 15, 2004, Plenexis Gesellschaft fuer Satellitenkommunikation filed an application for authority to operate a C—band transmit/receive in Auburn Hills, MI to communicate with some Intelsat and New Skies satellites. In order to facilitate review of the application, we request Plenexis Gesellschaft fuer Satellitenkommunikation to amend its application by October 30, 2004 to address the issue detailed below: The application indicates that the earth station the earth station will be in Auburn Hills, MI and the remote control point is located in Hamelin, Germany. To further process the application, the Commission requires Plenexis Gesellschaft fuer Satellitenkommunikation to supply the name, address, and telephone number of a point of contact located in the United States.‘ The point of contact must be available twenty—four hours per day, seven days per week. If the authorization is granted, the contact must posses the authority and the capability to terminate operations on the earth station. If Plenexis Gesellschaft fuer Satellitenkommunikation does not file this amendment by October 30, 2004, the Commission will dismiss the application pursuant to Section 25.11(c) of the Commission‘s rules. 47 C.F.R. § 25.112(c).
