FCC Form 312 Exhibit F Public Interest Statement Capital Communications Company, Inc. (“CCC”) holds the license for transmit/receive earth station E030275. Earth station E030275 is used in connection with the operations of full power television station WOI-DT, Ames, Iowa (Fac. Id. No. 8661). CCC and Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc. (“Nexstar”) have entered into purchase agreement pursuant to which Nexstar will acquire the equity of CCC subject to FCC approval. An application for consent to the assignment of WOI-DT’s license from CCC to Nexstar is being filed concurrently with this application. The proposed transaction will serve the public interest, convenience and necessity by allowing these facilities to continue providing important news and other events to the public.
