FCC FORM 312 EXHIBIT F PUBLIC INTEREST STATEMENT This application proposes to assign satellite earth stations E060015 and E060291 (the “SES Licenses”) from Affiliated Media, Inc. FCC Trust (the “FCC Trust”) to Denali Media Anchorage, Corp. (“DMAC”), which is a wholly-owned, indirect subsidiary of General Communication, Inc. (“GCI”). The SES Licenses are used in connection with television broadcast station KTVA(DT) (Facility ID No. 49632), which is licensed to provide service in the Anchorage, Alaska market. The FCC Trust and DMAC are contemporaneously submitting an application on FCC Form 314 for Commission consent to the assignment of KTVA-DT’s license to DMAC. Upon consummation of the proposed assignments, DMAC expects to use the SES Licenses in substantially the same manner as they are currently being used, namely to support KTVA(DT)’s broadcast television operations. Grant of this application will serve the public interest by allowing the SES Licenses to continue to be used to provide important broadcast programming, including local news and other items of community interest, to the citizens of Anchorage, Alaska.
