E990157 (SES-ASG-20031229-01888) Dear Ms. Dortch: This letter is written on behalf of the commonly-owned licensees of the earth station facilities referenced above, to request an extension of time to consummate the above- referenced assignments of license. These earth stations are associated with a number of television broadcast stations and such earth station licenses will be assigned in conjunction with the assignment of those broadcast licenses. Public notice of consent to assign those broadcast licenses occurred on April 6,2004, almost a month after these earth station assignments were granted. The time period for consummating these earth station assignments will expire before “finality” occurs of the broadcast-related consents. Therefore, Freedom respectfully requests a 30-day extension of time to consummate the assignment of these earth station licenses, until June 6,2004 and June 10,2004, respectively. DC\67058 1.1
