       Re: File No. SCL-LIC-20171031-00024

Dear Ms. Dortch:

On behalf of GCI Communication Corp. (“GCICC”), I hereby respond to inquiries made
by International Bureau staff by email on May 14, 2019, with respect to the above-referenced
cable landing license application for the AU-Aleutian Submarine Cable System (“AU-
Aleutian”).

Regarding the nature of the cable landing station facilities listed on page 5 of the August
1, 2018 amendment filing, in addition to the landings at Akutan, Dutch Harbor, and False Pass,
the cable landing stations at the following 8 cable landing points (King Cove, Cold Bay, Sand
Point, Perryville, Chignik Bay, Chignik Lagoon, Chignik Lake, and Larsen Bay) will be new
facilities constructed in connection with AU-Aleutian. The landing at Kodiak will use a
previously constructed cable landing station.

Should you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me by
telephone at +1 202 730 1337 or by e-mail at kbressie@hwglaw.com.

                                                      Yours sincerely,

                                                      Kent Bressie

                                                      Counsel for GCI Communication Corp.
