("Intelsat New Dawn"), pursuant to Section 25.121(d) of the Commission‘s rules, 47 C.F.R. § 25.121(d), hereby notifies the Commission that the Intelsat New Dawn satellite (call sign $2751) was successfully placed into orbit at 32.8° E.L. and became fully operational at that location as of July 9, 2011, in accordance with the terms of its FCC authorization.‘ In addition, Intelsat New Dawn seeks a determination from the Commission that the last milestone for the Intelsat New Dawn satellite, requiring launch and operation of the satellite, has been satisfied. As the Commission is aware, the west antenna reflector on the Intelsat New Dawn satellite did not deploy following launch. As a result, Intelsat New Dawn‘s C—band payload currently cannot be utilized. Intelsat New Dawn previously operated temporarily in Ku—band at 32.85° E.L. pursuant to Special Temporary Authority.
