("Intelsat"), by its attomeys, respectfully requests an additional 60 days to complete the proforma transfer of control ofthe earth and space station licenses listed in the above—referenced applications. Effective April 18, 2006, the Intemational Bureau ofthe Federal Communications Commission granted the above—referenced earth station applications,‘ and effective April 27, 2006, the International Bureau granted the above—referenced space station applications.*. Pursuant to Section 25.1 19 of the Commission‘s rules, the deadline for consummating these transactions is 60 days after authorization." s explained in the above—referenced applications, the approvedproforma transfer of control will occur after Intelsat (Bermuda), Ltd. assigns all ots assets to a newly ereated, wholly—owned subsidiary, Intelsat Intermediate Holding Company, Lid. The assignment of assets to Intelsat Intermediate Holding Company, Lid. is part of the proposed financing of the anticipated merger ofPanAmSat Holding Corporation and Intelsat.
