Washington, D.C. 20054 Re: Notice of Consummation Consolidated Application of General Motors Corporation, Hughes Electronics Corporation, and The News Corporation Limited for Authority to Transfer Control (MB Docket No. 03-124) Dear Ms. Dortch: In a Public Notice released on December 19, 2003, the Commission announced that it had adopted a Memorandum Opinion and Order granting authority for the transfer of control over various Commission licenses held by Hughes Electronics Corporation and its wholly or majority owned subsidiaries. See Public Notice, FCC 03-328 (rel. Dec. 19, 2003). The Public Notice specified that the grant of the transfer authorization was effective as of December 19, 2003. Pursuant to Section 25.119(f) of the Commission’s rules, this letter is to notify the Commission that the transfer of control transactions described in the parties’ Consolidated Application (which involve the licenses identified on the attachment hereto) were consummated on December 22, 2003.
