Date: July 14,2004 Erratum to June 15,2004 Grant of the Petition for Declaratory Ruling filed by HISPAMAR SATELITES, SA. (File No. SAT-PPL-20040402-00073) This erratum makes minor corrections to the text of the conditions of the June 15,2004 grant of the Petition for Declaratory Ruling filed by HISPAMAR SATELITES, SA. (File No. SAT-PPL-20040402-00073). This correction is made to recognize the Commission’s recent decision to revise the bond amounts for geostationary satellite orbit space stations. Amendment of the Commission’s Space Station Licensing Rules and Policies, First Order on Reconsideration and Fifth Report and Order, E3 Docket No. 02-34, FCC 04- 147 (rel. July 6,2004). Based on that decision, we will only require HISPAMAR SATELITES, SA to post a $750,000 bond. Accordingly, paragraph three is revised as follows: 3. HISPAMAR SATELITES, SA. must file a bond with the Commission in the amount of $750,000,’ pursuant to the procedures set forth in International Bureau Explains Procedure for Filing Bonds Pursuant to New Satellite Licensing Procedure, Public Notice, 18 FCC Rcd 16283 (2003), within 30 days of the date of this action, unless the spacecraft has been launched before that date, @.e.,July 15,2004). Should HISPAMAR SATELITES, SA. fail to file this bond within 30 days of the date of the public notice indicating that this action was taken, AMAZONAS-1 shall be removed from the Permitted Space Station List. 1 In light of the Commission’s recent decision to revise the bond amounts for geostationary satellite orbit space stations, we will only require HISPAMAR SATELITES, SA to post a $750,000 million bond. Amendment of the Commission’s Space Station Licensing Rules and Policies, First Order on Reconsideration and Fifth Report and Order, IB Docket No. 02-34, FCC 04-147 (rel. July 6, 2004). In the event that the revised bond amounts have not become effective when HISPAMAR SATELITES, SA bond is due, we waive Section 25.165 of the Commission’s rules to the extent necessary.
