! DIRECTV changed the name of this satellite from DIRECTV 11 to T11 following AT&T‘s acquisition of DIRECTV in
2015. See Letter from Jennifer D. Hindin, counsel for DIRECTV, to Marlene H. Dortch, Secretary, FCC (filed Jun. 12,
2017) available in IBFS File No. SAT—MOD—20141029—00117.

2 T11 was successfully placed into orbit and subsequently began commercial operations at the 99.225° W.L. orbital location
on July 22, 2008. See letter from William M. Wiltshire, counsel for DIRECTV, to Marlene H. Dortch, Secretary, FCC (filed
Aug. 19, 2008). The license term for satellite space stations in the fixed—satellite service is 15 years from the date of
commencement of service. Thus, the corrected expiration date for the license term for DIRECTV T1 is July 22, 2023.

                                 IBFS File No. SAT—MOD—20170921—00134

Unless otherwise specified herein, operations under this grant must comport with the legal and technical
specifications set forth by the applicant or petitioner and with Federal Communication Commission‘s rules
not waived herein. This grant is also subject to the following conditions:

    1. DIRECTV must maintain the T1l space station at the 99.185° W.L. orbital location with an east/west
         longitudinal station—keeping tolerance of + 0.025 degrees.
    2. In connection with the provision of service in any particular country, DIRECTV is obliged to comply
with the applicable laws, regulations, rules, and licensing procedures of that country.
    3. DIRECTV must operate the Tll space station at the 99.185° W.L. orbital location in compliance with all
existing or future coordination agreements for this location.
    4. The operations of Tll and associated earth stations must comport with the applicable uplink and
downlink limits in 47 CFR § 25.140(a)(3) of the Commission‘s rules, unless DIRECTV coordinates any
non—conforming operations with the operations of U.S.—licensed geostationary orbit space stations within
6 degrees of the 99.185° W.L orbital location. The operations of Tll must also comport with the
maximum power limits indicated in its application. Non—conforming operation must also be coordinated
with respect to those operations of non—U.S.—licensed space stations within 6 degrees of 99.185° W.L
involving approved communications with U.S.—licensed earth stations.
    5. DIRECTV must coordinate its space—to—Earth operations in the 18.3—18.8 GHz frequency band with U.S.
Federal systems, including Federal operations to earth stations in foreign countries, in accordance with
footnote US334 to the United States Table of Frequency Allocations, 47 CFR § 2.106, US334.
    6. The power flux—density (PFD) at the Earth‘s surface produced by the emissions from the DIRECTV T11
space station for all atmospheric conditions, and for all methods of modulation in the 18.3—18.8 GHz
frequency band (space—to—Earth), must not exceed a level of —118.0 dBW/m2/MHz at any angle of arrival.
    7. —Within 30 days of completion of the end—of—life maneuvers, DIRECTV must send a letter to the Chief,
Satellite Division, International Bureau, indicating the apogee and perigee of the T11 disposal orbit.
Licensee/grantee is afforded thirty (30) days from the date of release of this action to decline the grant as
conditioned. Failure to respond within this period will constitute formal acceptance of the grant as conditioned.

This action is taken pursuant to Section 0.261 of the Commission‘s rules on delegated authority, 47 C.F.R. §
0.261, and is effective upon release.

Station licenses are subject to the conditions specified in Section 309(h) of the Communications Act of 1934, as
amended, 47 U.S.C. § 309(bh).
