Re: Notification of resumption of inclined orbit operations for AfriStar—1 Call Sign $2367, File No.
         SAT—MOD—20141212—00129

Dear Ms. Dortch:

Yazmi USA, LLC ("Yazmi"), by its attorneys and pursuant to the intent of Section 25.280 of the
Commission‘s Rules, 47 C.F.R. § 25.280, hereby confirms that its above—referenced AfriStar—1 satellite
has resumed inclined—orbit operation at 21 degrees East Longitude (E.L.).

Yazmi informed the Commission of its intention to re—suspend north—south station keeping at the end of
March 2015 in its modification of license application to extend the license term of AfriStar—1 (File No.
SAT—MOD—20141212—00129, at Exhibit A).

After commencing inclined orbit operation initially in June 2012, Yazmi resumed north—south station
keeping in July 2014. From July 2014 through March 2015, Yazmi maintained AfriStar—1 at 1.7 degrees
inclination. Yazmi re—suspended north—south station keeping and resumed inclined orbit operation of
AfriStar—1 on April 1, 2015.

With the resumption of inclined orbit operations, Yazmi expects AfriStar—1‘s inclination to grow at an
average rate of 0.81 degrees per year.

The expected end of useful life for AfriStar—1 is April 2021.

Please direct any questions or comments on the above notification to me.

Respectfully submitted,

Janet Hernandez
Counsel for Yazmi USA, LLC
