Washington, DC 200554 Re: Notice of Commencement of Inclined Orbit Operations for Intelsat 2 Call Sign: $2459 Dear Ms. Dortch: Pursuant to Section 25.280(a) of the Commission‘s rules (47 C.F.R. § 25.280(a)), PanAmSat Licensee Corp. hereby notifies the FCC of the commencement of inclined orbit operations for Intelsat 2, which currently is operating at 169.0° E.L. Set forth below is the information required by the Commission. (1) The operator‘s name is PanAmSat Licensee Corp. (2) The satellite is expected to leave the 0.05° inclination control box on January 3, 2008. The last north/south station—keeping maneuver occurred on December 10, 2008. (3) The initial inclination (after the last north/south station—keeping maneuver) was 0.025°. (4) The rate of change in inclination per year is as follows: 2008 —0.936° per year 2009 —0.905° per year 2010 —0.872° per year 2011 —0.839° per year (5) The expected end—of—life of the satellite accounting for inclined orbit operations is June 2011.
