Accordingly, SES Americom is authorized to operate its Fixed Satellite Service (FSS) satellite, AMC-21 (Call Sign: S2676), using two beams rather than using a single beam as previously authorized from the 125” W.L. orbital location using the 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to- space) and 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) conventional Ku-band frequencies. Other than changing the beams, the conditions contained in the prior authorization2continue to apply. This .r authorization is subject to the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in SES Americom’s application, this Attachment, and the Commission’srules: 1. SES Americom’s request for a limited waiver of Section 25.1 14(d)(3) of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. 25.1 14(d)(3), IS GRANTED. Section 25.1 14(d)(3) requests each applicant to provide “Predicted space station antenna gain contour(s) 1 each transmit and each receive antenna beam and nominal orbital location requested SES Americom has provided antenna gain information in the .gxt format with one exception: SES Americom has not provided the gain characteristics of the global hc antenna because the .gxt format is not available from the spacecraft manufacturer at time. Instead, SES Americom has supplied graphical information that demonstrates relationship between the gain and the off-set angle for this antenna. Under these circumstances, we find that the information provided by SES Americom together wi technical information provided in the appli~ation,~ satisfies the purpose of Section 25.1 14(d)(3). Grant of this waiver request is consistent with our pre~edent.~ . F 2.
