                         Call Sign: $2146.

               Dear Ms. Dortch:

               PanAmSat Licensee Corp. ("PanAmSat") hereby notifies the Commission that
                it has successfully de—orbited its Galaxy 9 satellite. The de—orbiting was
                completed on June 7, 2010. The final measured orbit of the Galaxy 9 satellite
              _ is 209 km above the geostationary arc, with an apogee and perigee of252 km
                and 166 km above the arc, respectively. In the course of de—orbiting the
               satellite, PanAmSat depleted the propellant tanks, discharged the batteries,
               disconnected the power from the bus, and shut off the transmitters.
