Call Sign $2651 Dear Ms. Dortch: New ICO Satellite Services, G.P. ("ICO") holds a letter of intent ("LOT") authorization reserving spectrum in the 2 GHz band for the provision of mobile satellite services ("MSS"), and ICO is designing its ancillary terrestrial component ("ATC") portion of its MSS network. ICO requests a list of Government and commercial earth stations operating in the 2200—2290 MHz band. Section 25.252(a)(6) of the Commussion‘s rules, 47 C.F.R. § 25.252(a)(6), states that this list should be requested in an MSS licensee‘s application to provide ATC, and that ATC base stations be located no less than 820 meters from U.S. earth station facilities operation in the 2200—2290 MHz band. For purposes of complying with Section 25.252(a)(6) requirements in designing its ATC network, ICO needs this list in advance of filing its ATC application.
