DC 20554 Re: Skynet Satellite Corporation Telstar 11, Call Sign S2670 Telstar 11N, Call Sign S2357 Dear Ms. Dortch: Skynet Satellite Corporation, a subsidiary of Telesat (collective1y “Telesat“), hereby notifies the Commicsion that following commencement of preparations to remove the Telstar 11 satellite (call sign S2670) to a disposal orbit Telesat discovered [hat the satellite has experienced deterioration of a solar sensor. As a result, the reliability of disposal removal would be enhanced by a software upgrade. Telesat anticipates that additional time will be needed to complete preparations for the de-orbit maneuver. Following completion of that maneuver, Telesat will file a letter notifying the Commission of the Telstar I 1 satellite’s final orbital parameters. On October 31, 2007. l’clesat acquired the assets of Lord Skynet Corporation. Upon consummation of the transaction. the authorimions held by Loral Skynet Corporation were transferred to Shy nct Satellite Corporation. For convenience, this letter refers consistently t o Tclesat rather than Loral Shynet Corporation or Shynet Satellite Corporation. 500 Hills Drive, Bedminster.
