REQUESTED FREQUENCIES DIRECTV requests operational authority for the following Ka-band frequencies: Earth-to-space: 28.35-28.6 GHz, 29.25-25.29 GHz, and 29.5-30.0 GHz Space-to-Earth: 18.3-18.59 GHz and 19.7-20.2 GHz DIRECTV also provides information with respect to, and requests launch (but not operational) authority for, a payload capable of using the following DBS frequencies: Earth-to-space: 17.3-17.8 GHz Space-to-Earth: 12.2-12.7 GHz
