Re: Intelsat North America LLC, Request for Release of Bond for Intelsat
16 Satellite; File No. SAT-LOA-20080416-00085, Call Sign S2750

                          Dear Ms. Dortch:

Intelsat North America LLC (“Intelsat”), by its attorneys and pursuant to Sections
25.164 and 25.165(d) of the Commission’s rules,1 hereby notifies the Commission
that Intelsat has satisfied all of its milestone obligations and requests a release of the
                          bond for the above-referenced satellite.

On March 31, 2010, Intelsat provided a certification to the Commission that the
Intelsat 16 satellite (call sign S2750) had had become fully operational at the 58.1°
W.L. orbital location.2 This certification demonstrates that Intelsat has met all
milestone requirements stipulated in its grant of approval to launch and operate the
                          Intelsat 16 satellite at 58.1° W.L.3

As a result, Intelsat seeks a determination from the Commission that all milestones
for the Intelsat 16 satellite have been satisfied and that Intelsat is entitled to a full
release of the $750,000 performance bond for this satellite.

Please contact the undersigned with any questions.

                          Sincerely,

                          /s/ Jennifer D. Hindin
