       "The French adininistration has noted with intrestthe Application from AFRISPACE NC for
Authority to Launch and Operate a Replacement Stelite, Afristar, at21° EL. (Rle mumber SAT«
Ret—200031100061).
        Considring that the French administration is supporting the development of a European
Satellte Digitl Radio programme (E—SDR inittive) that will make us offrequency assignments in
the same frequency bands to serve in paricular Europe (published by the TTU under FSAT—DAB
networks}, 1 look forward to close coordination between our two administrations on this subject,as
thesetwo project re likly to be technicall incompatible.
