April 1, 1998) Dear Ms. Salas: Final Analysis Communication Services, Inc. ("Final Analysis"), by its attorneys, hereby provides written notification of a meeting it held with Commission staff regarding the above— referenced proceeding. As there was no "presentation" at the meeting within the meaning of Section 1.1202 of the Rules, no formal ex parte notification is required. Nevertheless, out of an abundance of caution, Final Analysis is submitting this letter to the Commission to identify who attended the meeting and describe the central matters discussed at the meeting. On Wednesday, April 15, 1998 Nader Modanlo, President, Michael Ahan, Vice President and Sharon Edwards, Director of Government Relations of Final Analysis, along with myself and Philip Permut of Kelley Drye & Warren, David Leach of Dewey Ballantine LLP, and ©Kathleen Wallman of Wallman Strategic Consulting met with Regina Keeney, Chief of the International Bureau, and the following members of the International Bureau staff: Harry Ng, Thomas Tycz, Fern Jarmulnek, Cassandra Thomas, Alex Roytblat, and Tania Hanna. The purpose of the meeting was to convey to the International Bureau the impact on Final Analysis of the Order and Authorization, and the company‘s intention to seek reconsideration or review of certain aspects of the Bureau‘s action. Procedural issues concerning certain certification requirements set forth in the Order and Authorization were also discussed. DCO1/PISCA/34927.2
