SAT—LOA—19970926—00149, SAT—AMD—19980318—00021 & SAT—AMD—20001103—00159 Dear Mr. Abelson: Pursuant to Section 25.143(e) of the Commission‘s Rules, 47 C.F.R. § 24.143(e), The Boeing Company ("Boeing"), through its attorneys, herein reports on the development of its 2 GHz Mobile—Satellite Service ("2 GHz MSS") system. As of September 30, 2001, Boeing had not yet begun construction of satellites for its 2 GHz MSS system. Boeing anticipates that the launch of its first two satellites will occur on or before January 2005, with the launch of its remaining satellites occurring on or before July 2007. Boeing has not encountered any major problems or delays in the development of its 2 GHz MSS system. www.ssd.com
