The Commission, by its International Bureau, took the following actions pursuant to delegated authority. The effective
date of these actions is the release date of this Notice, except were an effective date is specified.

Dismissal
SAT-A/O-19960229-00036              S2235          Echostar KuX Corporation ( d/b/a Echostar Satellite Productions )

On December 8, 2003 the Commission by delegated authority, found the extended Ku-band appliations
SAT-LOA-19960229-00039 as amended by SAT-AMD-20030402, callsign S2233 and SAT-LOA-19960229-00038 as amended
by SAT-AMD-20030411-00065, callsign S2234, for 83W and 121W defective. The Commission returned those applications as
per DA 03-3894. The associated ground spare application SAT-A/O-19960229-00036 as amended by
SAT-AMD-20030417-00067, callsign S2235, is defective and is also returned as per DA 03-3894; its reference was inadertantly
left off the notice dismissing the two associated spacecraft S2233 and S2234 and this ground spare S2235.
SAT-AMD-20030417-00067              S2235          EchoStar KuX Corporation

On March 17, 2004, the Satellite Division dismissed as defective without prejudice to refiling Space Communications
Corporation's petition for declaratory ruling to add the SUPERBIRD-C satellite at the 144° E.L. orbital location to the
Commission's Permitted Space Station List, File No. SAT-PPL-20040120-00006, Call Sign: S2614. See letter to Mr. Koichiro

INFORMATIVE
SAT-LOA-19940512-00028               S2142          EchoStar Satellite Corporation ( d/b/a Echostar Satellite Productions )

On March 15, 2004, EchoStar Satellite L.L.C. filed a letter surrending its authorization to construct, launch, and operate a
Ku-band FSS satellite at 83 degrees W.L. (see letter from Counsel, EchoStar Satellite, L.L.C. to Secretary, Federal
Communications Commission (March 15, 2004)).

EchoStar was authorized to operate its satellite at the 83 degrees W.L. orbit location in the 11700-12200 MHz and 14000-14500
MHz frequency bands. EchoStar Satellite L.L.C. has surrendered voluntarily the license for this facility. Accordingly, this orbit
location is available - as of 11:00 AM EST on the day this public notice is released.
SAT-STA-20040107-00002               S2417          DIRECTV ENTERPRISES, LLC

On February, 26, 2004, Pegasus Development Corporation filed a motion to designate DIRECTV Enterpises, LLC's application,
File No. SAT-STA-20040107-00002, as "permit-but-disclose" under the Commission's ex parte rules. The Bureau concludes that
the public interest will be served by designating File No. SAT-STA-20040107-00002 as "permit-but-disclose" in order to facilitate
comment on the issues implicated by this application. Accordingly, on March 12, 2004, the Satellite Division, Policy Branch
granted the motion and designated File No. SAT-STA-20040107-00002 as "permit-but-disclose."
