No party has filed comments, petitions to deny, or any pleadings opposing the application listed above, and our own review finds no
issues that impede our grant. We find that the transaction is in the public interest, convenience, and necessity, and grant authority for
the assignment of the requested space station authorization. See 47 U.S.C. § 310(d). In 2002, the Bureau consented to the involuntary
assignment of S2348, a license for a remote sensing satellite, from Orbital Imaging Corporation to Orbital Imaging Corporation,
Debtor in Possession. Orbital Imaging Corporation, Debtor in Possession now proposes to assign the S2348 license to ORBIMAGE,
Inc. ORBIMAGE, Inc. indicates that following grant of the Orbimage Application, it will be in a position to emerge from bankruptcy
pursuant to its amended plan of reorganization.
