Washington, DC 20554 Re: WC Docket 13-320 IB File No. ITC-T/C-20131230-00345 Dear Ms. Dortch: This letter is filed on behalf of Ropir Industries, Inc. and its subsidiaries, Union Springs Telephone Company and Ropir Communications, Inc. (jointly, the “Companies”), to correct a statement included in the Joint Application for Section 214 authorization of certain transfers of control of the Companies. The correction noted in this letter does not alter the conclusion stated in the application, which was granted by both the Wireline Competition Bureau and the International Bureau, that Mr. Robert E. L. Gilpin is currently in a position to control all of the Companies. Section V(h) of the application included the following statement: “All of the stock of Ropir Industries is held in the Estate of Billie K. Pirnie of which Robert E. L. Gilpin is the Personal Representative.” That statement should have read as follows: “All of the stock of Ropir Industries is held in the Mrs. Pirnie Trust of which Robert E. L. Gilpin is the sole trustee.” A miscommunication between attorneys for the Companies resulted in the error. Please inquire with this office if any questions arise. Very truly yours, David L. Nace
