(Impsat) filed an application requesting authority to transfer control of Impsat‘s wholly owned subsidiary, Impsat USA, Inc. (Impsat USA), to GCL. Impsat USA holds domestic and international section 214 authorizations, satellite earth station licenses, and is a licensee of AMERICAS—II cable. GCL is organized under the laws of Bermuda, and controlled by Singapore Technologies Telemedia Pte Ltd (St Telemedia). St. Telemedia indirectly holds a 56.5% equity and voting interest in GCL. St Telemedia is wholly owned by Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited (Temasek), a Singapore—based investment holding company which, in turn, is wholly owned by the Minster of Finance of Singapore. A copy of Public Notice DA 06—2470 (rel. December 5, 2006) is attached.
