        Notification of Discontinuance of International Telecommunication Services

Dear Ms. Dortch:

TDS Metrocom, LLC, by undersigned counsel and pursuant to Section 63.19 of the Commission‘s Rules,
47 C.F.R. Section 63.19, notifies the Commission that the Company plans to discontinue the provision of
international telecommunications services to customers in the Appleton, Wisconsin Market Area. The
Company is a non—dominant carrier currently serving local and long distance customers on a VoIP basis.


        1.    Name and Address ofthe Carrier: TDS Metrocom, LLC, 525 Junction Road, Madison,
Wisconsin 53717.


        2.    Date ofPlanned Service Discontinuance: Applicant plans to discontinue the affected
services on or around May 15, 2015, or as soon thereafter as any necessary regulatory approvals are
obtained.


        3.    Points ofGeographic Areas ofService Affected: Applicant proposes to discontinue the
affected services in the Appleton, Wisconsin Market Area.


        4.    Description ofService Affected: Voice Services provided over a fixed wireless internet
product called WiMax (VoIP).


        5.    BriefDescription ofthe Dates and Methods ofNotice to All Affected Customers: Applicant
sent a written notification of the planned discontinuance to customers utilizing the services in accordance
with Section 63.71(a) of the Commission‘s Rules. Customer notifications were sent on April 15, 2015. A
copy of the notice is appended hereto as Exhibit A.


           6.   Regulatory Classification ofCarrier: Applicant is considered non—dominant with respect
to the services to be discontinued.


TDS Metrocom, LLC believes that the proposed discontinuance is reasonable and necessary. TDS
Metrocom, LLC will take all reasonable steps, to the extentit is able, to assure that the discontinuance of
service is not unduly disruptive to the present or future public convenience and necessity.

Dear Valued Customer,

Over the past month, you received communications that TDS has made a difficult decislon to
discontinue local and long distance volce services and fixed—wireless broadband Internet
access In the Appleton area. This discontinuance is subject to the approval of the Federal
Communications Commission (FCC) and, if such approval is received, will take place on or
after May 15, 2015.

If you have not already done so, you will need to make arrangements for your service to
be carried by another telecommunications service provider. If you have not made
arrangements with another provider prior to May 15, 2015, please be advised that your
service will be disconnected on or after this date, provided that the FCC approves the
planned discontinuance.

The FCC will normally authorize this proposed discontinuance of service (or reduction or
impairment) unless It is shown that customers would be unable to receive service or a
reasonable substitute from another carrier or that the public convenience and necessity is
otherwise adversely affected. If you wish to object, you should file your comments as soon as
possible, but no later than 15 days after the Commission releases public notice of the proposed
discontinuance. You may file your comments electronically through the FCC‘s Electronic
Comment Filing System using the docket number established in the Commission‘s public notice
for this proceeding, or you may address them to the Federal Communications Commission,
Wireline Competition Bureau, Competition Policy Division, Washington, DC 20554, and include
in your comments a reference to the §63.71 Application of TDS Metrocom, LLC.. Comments
should include specific information about the impact of this proposed discontinuance (or
reduction or impairment) upon you or your company, including any inability to acquire
reasonable substitute service.
